Alfredo Binda
Italian toe-strap marque bearing the name of Alfredo Binda, five-time Giro winner and three-time world champion turned equipment maker. Made by Bianchi Dino and later tied to Cinelli, Binda straps — in thick laminated leather — were reputed the strongest and least stretchy on the market: the reference toe strap of the 1960s-1980s peloton.
