Gipiemme
Italian bicycle component manufacturer founded in Milan in 1964 as a precision machine shop; the name derives from the initials GPM. Initially a subcontractor for firms including Campagnolo, Gipiemme launched its own component groupset of cranks, hubs, brakes and derailleurs in the 1980s before specialising in rims and wheels.
