KMC
KMC, the trading name of Kuei Meng International, is a Taiwanese chain manufacturer founded in 1977 by Charles Wu. It is one of the largest producers of bicycle chains in the world and also supplies chains as an original-equipment manufacturer to component makers and bicycle brands, in addition to motorcycle and industrial chains. Its bicycle range is organised by number of sprockets — X11, X12 or e12 for e-bikes, for example — with variants such as the EPT anti-corrosion coating and the DLC diamond-like carbon treatment, and its Missing Link quick connector is widely used.
