Maxxis
Maxxis is the international tyre brand of Cheng Shin Rubber, a Taiwanese company founded in 1967 at Yuanlin and initially devoted to bicycle tyres. The Maxxis name was introduced in 1992 for export markets, and production now covers bicycles, motorcycles, cars and utility vehicles, with plants in Taiwan, China, Thailand and the United States. Its mountain bike tyres are widely used, among them the Minion DHF and DHR II, the Assegai and the Dissector, offered with the 3C multi-compound rubber and casing reinforcements such as EXO and DoubleDown.
