Versatile mid-drive motor from Bafang's M series, launched in May 2022 as a full redesign of the M400 (part number MM G333.250.C). Bafang claims a 700 g saving over the M400 while keeping similar performance: 250 W nominal, maximum torque announced at 80 Nm at launch then raised to 95 Nm on the current spec sheet, assisted cadence up to 120 rpm. Intended for eMTBs, trekking e-bikes and cargo bikes, it works with the Enviolo drivetrain and uses the same mounting interface as the M500/M510. Compatible with down tube batteries (BT F16.630.C, 630 Wh) and DP C244/245, E170/171 and E180/181 displays.
