Launched in 2020, the fourth-generation Performance Line CX became Bosch's flagship motor for electric mountain biking. Developed on the BES2 platform, before the arrival of the Smart System, it delivers 85 Nm of torque while being around 25% lighter and more compact than the previous generation. Its dynamic eMTB mode and 340% assistance made it the benchmark for high-end eMTBs of the early 2020s.
