B73
Brand: Brooks England
Introduced in the 1935 Brooks catalogue, the B73 is the only model still made with three springs: two coil springs at the rear and one at the front, the latter allowing noticeably more lateral movement than the B66's two springs. It takes over the B66's proportions, with a 260 x 205 mm vegetable-tanned leather top on a steel frame closed with tubular rivets, and mounts on a traditional saddle clamp rather than a micro-adjust seatpost. Retailers position it for recreational or utility use, in a fairly upright riding position.
