The Athena 11-speed cassette shares its sprockets with Campagnolo's Chorus group, using a triplet carrier plus individual nickel-chrome-treated steel sprockets on aluminium spacers for a Campagnolo-standard freehub body. It was offered from 2010 until the Athena group's retirement around 2016 in several road ratios, including 11-25, 11-27 and 12-27. The Athena short-cage rear derailleur handles cogs up to 29 teeth, so these close-to-medium ratios are all fully compatible. A typical cassette weighs about 236 g and delivers the smooth, tightly spaced shifting Campagnolo's 11-speed drivetrains are known for.
