Athena Rim Brake Caliper 11s

Brand: Campagnolo

The Athena rim brake caliper is a cable-actuated, dual-pivot road brake introduced with Campagnolo's Athena 11-speed group in 2010 and sold until the group was discontinued around 2016. It uses skeletonised forged aluminium arms with a differentiated front and rear design and Ergal hardware to trim weight while keeping the arms stiff. The caliper bolts to a single central mounting point on the fork crown and brake bridge and clamps a conventional aluminium wheel-rim braking surface. It shares its architecture with Campagnolo's higher Chorus and Record dual-pivot calipers of the same era.
