The Veloce-level Ergopower was the combined brake and shift lever set for Campagnolo's 9-speed road drivetrain, bridging the gap between the mid-1990s 8-speed Veloce Ergopower and the later 10-speed version. Campagnolo's 2004 Veloce catalogue lists the Veloce Ergopower in 9- and 10-speed options with a composite body, an anodised lever, compatibility with double and triple cranksets and ErgoBrain 10 compatibility, for an indicative weight of 402 g. The 9-speed Veloce drivetrain was still offered alongside the 10-speed group in the 2004 range, whereas Campagnolo's 2006 Veloce documentation covers only the 10-speed group. As with all Ergopower controls, shifting and braking are integrated into a single lever body, and the indexing is specific to Campagnolo 9-speed rear derailleurs and cassettes.
