The Drop V is Cane Creek's long-pull drop-bar brake lever: it pulls enough cable to operate V-brakes or mountain mechanical disc brakes from road hoods, the opposite approach to mini V-brakes, which instead adapt to short pull. Cane Creek states it is not compatible with standard road calipers or with cantilevers. It is a brake-only lever with no shifting, aimed at cyclocross and at single-speeds or commuter bikes built with drop bars. High-impact resin bodies, forged 6061-T6 blades and rubber hoods: 310 g the pair, in black or silver.
