The CAAD13 is the culmination of Cannondale's cult line of aluminium frames. CAAD stands for Cannondale Advanced Aluminum Design, a family born in the 1990s that redefined what an alloy frame could offer. From the CAAD3, CAAD5, CAAD8 and CAAD9 to the legendary CAAD10 and CAAD12, each generation pushed the limits of aluminium performance, often rivalling far more expensive carbon frames.
