Canyon's first Aeroad, an aerodynamic carbon rim-brake frame launched for model year 2011 and carried through to 2014. Canyon presents it as a blend of the Ultimate CF SLX and the Speedmax CF, with a frontal area 20% smaller than the Ultimate CF SLX, shaped tubes, internal cable routing, a 1 1/8" - 1 1/4" conical head tube and an integrated seat clamp. Rake Shift inserts at the fork ends vary trail by 5mm, moving handling from agile to more settled. The frameset, with its Aeroblade SL fork and VCLS Aero Post, is quoted at 1,090g for €1,999.
