Brand: Cervélo

Entry point to Cervélo's R family, in the catalogue from 2018 to 2020 and offered with rim brakes only. It reuses the Squoval Max tubes and BBright shell of the R5 and R3 with a less expensive carbon, and was sold built with Shimano 105. Cervélo quotes it as 12% stiffer at the head tube and 5% stiffer at the bottom bracket than the previous generation. The frame takes tyres up to 28mm and a round 27.2mm seatpost.
