Second generation of the rim-brake R5, in Cervélo's catalogue from the 2014 to the 2016 model year and the top of the R Series. The Squoval 3 tube shapes come from the Rca: Cervélo claims a BBright bottom bracket 9.5% stiffer, a head tube 15% stiffer in torsion and a 7.4 W aerodynamic gain over the previous R5. The frame is quoted at 808 g, the seatpost is a round 27.2 mm and tyre clearance stops at 25 mm. Six sizes from 48 to 61 cm, all with 405 mm chainstays and a 68 mm bottom bracket drop.
