Disc-brake version of the R5, Cervélo's all-round race bike, in the generation launched in 2017 and replaced after model year 2021. Cervélo presents it as its stiffest road frame to date, with 18% more head tube stiffness and 26% more bottom bracket stiffness than the previous R5. Tyre clearance rises to 30mm measured width, RAT thru-axles speed up wheel changes and the shell stays on the in-house BBright standard. The frame is quoted at 831g in size 54.
