Launched on 26 June 2025, the Archetype is a limited-edition tubeless-ready racing tyre built at the request of UAE Team Emirates - XRG and sold as an official licensed product of that year's Tour de France. It comes in a single 30 mm width, at 275 g, which Continental describes as 35 g less than a Grand Prix 5000 S TR of the same section: the tread is thinner and there is no puncture breaker. The 220 TPI casing, BlackChili compound, LazerGrip shoulders and Active Comfort layer are carried over.
