The eContact was Continental's early e-bike tire for city and trekking machines, built around durability rather than speed. It uses a stiff wire-bead 3/180 TPI casing and a double-layer SafetyPlus breaker that shrugs off glass and flints, and the rubber is notably hard. The 37-622 is claimed at 800 g. It has since been succeeded by the eCONTACT Plus.
