Coil-sprung fork from Fox's 36 family, with 160 mm of travel and the sealed FIT RC2 cartridge introduced in 2011 alongside the open-bath R model. Kashima-coated 36 mm stanchions, a 20QR thru axle and post mount brake tabs aim it at all-mountain, freeride and downhill use. External adjustment covers low-speed compression, high-speed compression, coil preload and rebound, with hydraulic bottom-out resistance inside the damper. Fox quotes 2.33 kg with the 1 1/8" straight steerer; a 1.5" tapered steerer was optional.
