Air-sprung rear shock with a piggyback reservoir, built for heavy trail riding, freeride and downhill without the weight of a coil. A high-volume air sleeve, the position-sensitive Boost Valve and a two-position ProPedal lever give it a wide tuning range, alongside adjustable bottom-out resistance and rebound. Fox quotes 443 g in 8.5 x 2.5 inches with no reducers, across six length and travel combinations from 7.5 x 2.0 to 9.5 x 3.0 inches. The 2012 model year added a Kashima-coated body.
