The second generation of Garmin's pedal-based power meter, announced in April 2015. It measures force directly in both pedals, reporting total power, left/right balance, cadence and Cycling Dynamics over ANT+. Compared with the original Vector, the pedal pod clamped under the crank is redesigned: no washers to fuss over, a wrench-based install and a status LED. Figure on 179 g per pedal, a replaceable CR2032 cell and 175 hours of battery life. The Vector 2S measures on the left side only; the Vector 3, announced in 2017, did away with the external pod.
