Escape Max is a mountain bike trail tyre launched by Goodyear in 2026. With the Escape Inter it forms the Trail category and takes over from the previous Escape. It suits committed singletrack, trail riding and light enduro, between downcountry and enduro. Large siped shoulder knobs serve cornering and braking, while staggered central blocks in a 3/2/2 layout favour rolling speed and progressive behaviour. It is Tubeless Ready, with folding bead, black sidewall and ECE-R75 e-bike approval. Two casings, the lighter Trail Lite and the more supportive Trail Plus, meet the Dynamic:Grip2 and Dynamic:Grip3 compounds, in 29x2.4 (865 to 1025 g) and 29x2.6 (1020 g).
