Named after Isaac Newton, the Goodyear Newton was an enduro and downhill mountain bike tyre catalogued from 2019 to 2021, replaced from 2022 by the front- and rear-specific Newton MTF and Newton MTR. It covered dry, dusty through to soft, wet ground. Tubeless Complete, black sidewall, three constructions: EN Premium with one 60 tpi ply, Dynamic:R/T rubber and an M:Wall sidewall; EN Ultimate with 1.5 plies of 120 tpi and the same compound; DH Ultimate with two 120 tpi plies, softer Dynamic:RS/T rubber, M:Wall plus A:Wall sidewalls and a butyl ply adding stability and cut resistance. Sizes 27.5x2.4 to 29x2.6, 930 to 1367 g.
