Newton MTF

The Newton MTF is the front-specific gravity mountain bike tire Goodyear introduced in 2022 alongside the rear-specific Newton MTR. Its tread pairs ramped centre knobs, meant to limit drag, with tall arch-supported shoulder knobs for braking and cornering bite in intermediate to wet conditions. Three casings cover the discipline: Trail with a 60 tpi carcass and Armor protection, Enduro with a 120 tpi two-ply carcass and Wall EN sidewalls, and Downhill with a 60 tpi two-ply carcass and Wall DH sidewalls, using the Trail2 and Grip3s compounds. Sizes are 27.5x2.5 and 29x2.5, Tubeless Complete, 1065 to 1330 g.
