The Wrangler MTR (Mountain Tire Rear) is the rear counterpart to the Wrangler MTF, launched by Goodyear in 2024 and still catalogued in 2026. It suits demanding trail riding up to enduro, on gravity mountain bikes and e-MTBs, from dry and dusty ground to rocky terrain. Its motocross-derived tread keeps the closely spaced, siped knobs, here aimed at drive and rolling efficiency, while the Dynamic:Grip3 compound, soft yet durable, works under braking and in corners. Tubeless Complete mounting, black sidewall, ECE-R75 e-bike approval. Enduro and a rear-specific ElectricDrive construction are offered in 27.5x2.6 (66-584) and 29x2.4 (61-622), from 1295 to 1405 g.
