Equinox 2

Equinox 2 was Hutchinson's entry-level road tyre for training, long-distance riding and general leisure use, catalogued from 2019. It is a tubetype design on a 66 TPI casing with a single rubber compound, and was listed in an unusually wide choice of sidewall colours: white, silver, blue, red, yellow, pink and grey. A Reinforced variant switched to a dual-compound tread and added a puncture-resistant reinforcement. Two widths were available, 700x23 and 700x25, in folding and wire-bead versions, with announced weights from 220 to 310 g. The model left the range around 2021.
