Python 2 is the second generation of one of Hutchinson's longest-running mountain bike tyre names, in the catalogue since 2018 as a cross-country design. Its tread is laid out with low, broad centre knobs. The model is notable for the breadth of its builds: tubetype with a wire bead, tubetype with the Sideskin casing, and tubeless ready with the Hardskin casing, combined with Mono-compound, Bi-compound or Race Ripost XC rubber. Sizes run across 26, 27.5 and 29 inch wheels in 2.1 to 2.3 widths, with announced weights from 610 to 860 g.
