The Trail is a double-sided SPD-compatible clipless pedal from iSSi, the colourful pedal brand of American distributor QBP (Salsa, Surly, All-City). Its aluminium body with a widened platform, inspired by Shimano's Trail pedals, gives a stable footing on the mountain bike, while the ED-treated chromoly axle keeps it to 420 g a pair with 4 degrees of float and a 14.6 degree release angle. Available in eight colours and two axle lengths, it embodied the iSSi recipe: the reliability of the SPD standard, with a dose of whimsy on top.
