Launched at the end of 2004 to replace the Delta system, the Look Keo introduced a new cleat standard that was narrower and lighter, paradoxically offering a larger bearing surface (259 mm2 versus 213 mm2 for the Delta) and a foot height lowered by around 6 mm. Injected carbon body, chromoly or titanium spindle. This deliberate break made Delta and Keo cleats completely incompatible.
