Designed by Doug Bradbury and marketed by Answer Products, the Manitou 1 is one of the very first telescopic suspension forks in mountain biking, with its elastomers and CNC-machined chassis. Facing the RockShox RS-1, it established front suspension on the race mountain bikes of the early 1990s.
