The GXM is the generation of mid-drive motor that Panasonic Cycle Technology unveiled at Eurobike 2025, replacing the previous GX family. It comes in three versions: the top-of-the-range GXM 105 Mg with a magnesium housing, and the GXM 100 and GXM 75 with aluminium housings. Panasonic has also opened the system's CAN bus to third-party battery and component makers, and the units are managed through a smartphone app with over-the-air firmware updates.
