The 1x13 cassette gave the drivetrain its class-leading spread, offered in four ranges - 10-36, 10-39, 10-46 and 10-52 - reaching a 520% range in the widest option. The 10-tooth smallest cog is the key trick: it sits outboard on a Shimano HG-shaped freehub body that ROTOR extended by roughly 3mm and paired with its own RVOLVER hubs and a special two-piece lockring. Removing the 10T cog also lets the cassette run 12-speed on a standard HG body. Machined for 13-speed hydraulic shifting, it launched in 2019.
