The Woodchipper is Salsa Cycles' emblematic extreme-flare drop bar, designed for off-road riding and bikepacking. The forerunner of the Cowchipper, it introduced the brand's flared signature around 2009: the hoods stay relatively narrow while the ends of the bar open widely outward (25° flare, 38° drop angle), giving a very open low position and excellent control on rough terrain. Made from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, it keeps a shallow drop (114 mm) and a short reach (56 mm), and works equally well with integrated road shifters and with bar-end shifters. 31.8 mm clamp diameter, available in 42, 44 and 46 cm widths.
