Top-tier Nexus roller brake, splined directly onto the hub and pulled by a cable. Its Hyper structure and large 150 mm finned cooling disc earn it a braking power index of 1.5 and a heat dissipation index of 1.4 in Shimano's tables, against 1 and 1.2 for the reference BR-IM45. It comes in front and rear versions and tops the 150 mm finned range, below the BR-IM81 and BR-IM86 that moved to a 180 mm disc.
