Road V-brake with a compact 90 mm arch, designed by Shimano for flat-bar bikes. It shares its curved arch shape with the BR-R353 and BR-R573, and differs from them by its anodised aluminium arms and S70C shoes. Shimano lists it as compatible with V-brake levers and flat-bar brake levers, so with the long-pull ratio. It was catalogued in silver, outside the Tiagra and 105 groups.
