Deore XT SP-M730

The SP-M730 is the seatpost of the Deore XT M730 groupset, the 1987-1989 generation that also brought the FC-M730 crankset and the RD-M730 rear derailleur. Shimano's exploded view shows a plain round post with a two-plate cradle clamped by a single M8x35 fixing bolt, the configuration Shimano used across all its mountain-bike seatposts in the late 1980s. The technical sheet was printed in September 1988.
