Cockpit harness of the very first Di2 generation, Dura-Ace 7970. Shimano lists it under « Electric Cable for cockpit area »: it links the ST-7970 levers to the loom feeding battery and derailleurs. The -E suffix denotes the external-routing version with two connectors, while the SM-EW79A-I covers internal routing. This generation uses proprietary connectors, unrelated to the E-Tube SD50 standard that replaced it.
