STEPS BT-E8010

The BT-E8010 is a 504 Wh lithium-ion battery for the Shimano STEPS system, mounted externally on the frame's down tube via a dedicated bracket. Introduced with the STEPS E8000 generation aimed at electric mountain bikes, it runs at 36 V for a capacity of 14 Ah. It is removable so it can be charged on or off the bike. Its cells withstand around 1000 charge cycles while retaining close to 60 % of their capacity. It remains compatible with the STEPS E7000 and E8000 systems.
