STEPS BT-E8036

The BT-E8036 is the high-capacity 630 Wh integrated battery of the Shimano STEPS system, installed inside the down tube. Running at 36 V for 17.5 Ah, it was introduced to extend the range of Shimano e-bikes. Removable, it charges on the bike in about six hours with the EC-E8004 charger. Its lithium-ion cells retain close to 60 % of capacity after some 1000 charge cycles. It is compatible with the STEPS EP800, E8000, E7000 and E6100 systems.
