Japanese seatpost in forged aluminium alloy with a single-bolt micro-adjust mechanism (Laprade design patented in 1979, licensed by SR in the early 1980s). Head forged in one piece with the shaft for great strength. Fluted shaft, produced in many diameters (25.4 to 27.2 mm). Very widespread as original or replacement equipment on 1980s road bikes.
