High-end Japanese crankset from Sakae Ringyo (SR), produced from the 1970s to the 1980s. Its design with fluted arms and spider and a cut-out outer chainring is directly inspired by the Campagnolo Nuovo Record. Available in several variants, Royal-5, Royal Pista, New Royal ESL, it was also fitted as original equipment on Miyata bicycles.
