3.0
Brand: SRAM
Entry-level rear derailleur from SRAM's 3.0 MTB series, a direct descendant of SRAM's own 1:1 actuation ESP technology (a 1:1 cable-to-derailleur pull ratio, incompatible with Shimano shifters). Designed for the 7/8-speed drivetrains of the late 1990s and early 2000s, it uses a long cage (SGS) with composite/steel cage plates and replaceable mud-access pulleys, and mounts on a standard hanger. Renamed X.3/X3 around 2004-2005. Approximate years.
