Launched in 2023, the Eagle Powertrain marks SRAM's entry into e-bike motors. Rather than developing its own drive unit, SRAM starts from a Brose Drive S Mag base (90 Nm, 680 W peak) and focuses its work on the software and on full integration with the T-Type Eagle AXS drivetrain: Auto-Shift changes gear automatically (up to ~700 shifts per hour) to hold the ideal cadence, and Coast-Shift makes it possible to change gear without pedalling, while coasting. Just two modes (Range and Rally), an AXS Bridge display integrated into the top tube and two wireless pods on the handlebar round out an uncluttered cockpit. 630 or 720 Wh batteries, 250 Wh range extender.
