49D
Brand: Stronglight
Duralumin crankset introduced in 1949 to replace the 49: the outer chainring itself carries the five star-shaped arms, bolted to the crank on a 50.4 mm circle. That layout survived almost unchanged until 1984, making the 49D one of the most widespread cranksets in French racing and touring. Forged aluminium arms in a natural finish, ISO square taper, around 579 g with both rings.
