The NEO 2T Smart (T2875) is Tacx's flagship direct-drive indoor trainer, unveiled in September 2019 to succeed the NEO 2 with stronger magnets and a revised magnetic topology. With no physical flywheel, it generates all of its resistance electromagnetically and simulates inertia of up to 125 kg. It handles 2,200 W, reproduces gradients of up to 25% and claims measurement accuracy better than 1%. Sold at 1,299 € at launch, it works without mains power, the connection serving only for motorised downhill drive and to make pairing easier.
