The Speciale 12 is Time's enduro and all-mountain clipless pedal, pairing the brand's ATAC engagement mechanism with a wide machined platform cage. The body is 6106 T6 aluminium turning on an oversized hollow steel axle, with four height-adjustable traction pins on each side and a micrometric spring tension adjustment, an unusual feature in the Time range. Lateral freedom is 5 mm and the release angle depends on the cleat used: 10 degrees with ATAC Easy cleats, 13 or 17 degrees with standard ATAC cleats. Time listed it as a 2018/2019 model, made in its own workshops in Nevers, France, and offered in blue, grey and red.
