Introduced in 2022 on the Trek Fuel EXe, the HPR50 redefined discretion for lightweight electric mountain bikes thanks to TQ's patented Harmonic Pin Ring transmission. At just 1.85 kg, 50 Nm of torque and 300 W, it makes up the lightest system in its class (about 3.9 kg including the 360 Wh battery, at 50.4 V). Its single-stage transmission cuts noise and friction, giving a natural, near-silent pedalling feel. It brought the lightweight e-MTB to the mainstream and has since been fitted to models from Trek, BMC, Scott and Simplon.
