Introduced in 2022, the PW-X3 is Yamaha's most compact, lightest and most powerful mid-drive motor, designed for high-level electric mountain biking. Around 20 percent smaller and 10 percent lighter than the PW-X2, it weighs only 2.75 kg while delivering 85 Nm of torque from the slightest pressure on the pedals. Its instant response and smooth power delivery make it a benchmark on technical trails.
