12-speed chain from the SLA series of Taiwan's YBN, with hollow pins and chamfered plates. It is the worst-kept secret in the WorldTour peloton: many pro teams actually ride YBN SLA chains repainted or rebranded in other companies' colours, because they are among the lightest and most durable chains on the market. They are central to the waxing phenomenon: stripped of their factory grease and then dipped in hot wax, they gain in efficiency and cleanliness, for a claimed service life of up to 8000 km.
