45 mm-deep carbon wheelset released in May 2016, the second model in the NSW range born in Zipp's The Nest advanced development lab. It brings together the ABLC Sawtooth dimpled profile, the silicon-carbide Showstopper brake track and the Cognition hubset, whose Axial Clutch disengages the ratchet while coasting to cut drag. Zipp quotes 1,425 g per pair on a rim measuring 17.25 mm internally and 28.5 mm at its widest, laced with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. This is the rim-brake 303 NSW, which predates the later tubeless and disc-brake versions.
